Since May 2019, the Wellenseind estate in Lage Mierde has been open to the public. The visitor center “Voor Anker” has also been opened, and together they form an ideal combination for a nice walk and for something to eat and drink after walking. From the parking lot, you walk through the visitor center to the outside, where three different walking routes (brown (5.3 km), green (3.4 km), and blue (2.6 km)) start. I chose the brown route, of which the posts along the way sometimes seem more red than brown.
