The route starts in front of the Grote Kerk on the Hoofdstraat in Driebergen.
The first three quarters of an hour it goes over narrow asphalt roads to the Langbroeker Wetering which we reach at Sterkenburg Castle. We continue our way over the beautiful Hardenbroek estate after which we arrive on the banks of De Kromme Rijn.
The Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden has made possible a beautiful grass path of almost 4 km along the banks of the Oude Kromme Rijn and the Caspergouwse wetering that ends before the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal.
Once across the canal we arrive at the Lekdijk and you can enjoy wide views over the river.
The 'dessert' of the tour consists of the crossing with the ferry over the Lek.
Then a short walk to the Market of Culemborg.
