AzureWelcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. This route takes you through the beautiful area of the Geuldal. De Geul is beautifully situated in the landscape.
This region is also called Buitengoed Geul & Maas , a tourist collaboration of Valkenburg, Meerssen and Maastricht. Thanks to this collaboration, you can walk on some beautifully renovated hiking trails.
The route starts from Berg. You will pass Uitspanning the Nightingale and the Geulhemergroeve. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for a nice cup of coffee.
The route can be followed via the blue markers. Parking is easy in Berg.
Please note: in wet weather, some sections may be slippery.
