The permanently signposted skating route Ham follows the safest possible roads and has a well-maintained surface, aimed at making public spaces sporty for skaters.

The route starts at the sports center 't Vlietje - Sportlaan 10/A - 3945 Ham, from where you can choose between three different distances depending on your level. At the starting point, you plan your route on the starting board. No GPS or map needed, arrows will guide you along the way.

• The beginner can choose a green route of approximately 6.5 km

• The more experienced skater can enjoy the red route of approximately 17 km (the red route can also be started at De Merel - Zwarte Spechtstraat 57 - 3971 Leopoldsburg)

• If you are already practiced but still in doubt, then the blue route of 11.5 km is for you.

You can also connect the skating route in Ham with the skating route in Beringen so that you can skate a total of 54 km in one go. Both routes are connected via two linking trails.
