Because I don't find this approach very pleasant (larger roads, poor bike paths), I have adjusted the start of this ride a bit. The road over “het Rot” to Nieuwrode also doesn't have the ideal bike path, but since it's uphill, it's still manageable. During the descent, I do leave the bike path (otherwise it's too dangerous). You won't encounter many flat sections; it goes up and down continuously. In Budingen, Groenstraat is closed (09/24/2023). However, the work only starts from Glabbeekstraat. So you can perfectly cycle here.
