The starting point of the walk is the church of Falmagne (V). Parking is available on rue du Baty. With the church on your left, you pass in front of the green square of the village. At house number 24 you take the left road, next to the very imposing farm. The paved road turns into concrete and you pass the red cross sign of Falmagne. At the next fork, turn left again. • Between vast fields, the concrete road takes you to a beautiful resting place with two benches and a pic-1 bench. Here you take the country road to the right which is dotted with small and large rocks. With first a hedge to the left and later to the right, this country road takes you into lower wooded areas. At first, you walk through the coniferous forest, which gradually turns into mixed forest and eventually deciduous forest. The shady forest is an ideal stopping place for the rather rare tongue fern. • Continue to follow the path until you reach a bridge on the Dinant-Bertrix railway line. Continue on the left turn path until you reach a fork. Here you can see on a hexagonal panel the designation Walzin – 107 m 2 . Take the half-hollow road on the right. A little further you have a beautiful view of the castle of Walzin between the trees. The castle stands like an eagle's nest above the right bank of the Lesse. A difficult part for kayakers, as there is a small rapid at this place. • Stay on the path: you will soon arrive next to the Lesse, which you will follow upstream. You pass under the railway bridge and immediately take the steep path on the right that takes you next to the railway tracks.[3] You cross the Lesse in this way. On the other hand, you descend steeply. • Turn left and continue to follow the Lesse upstream, now along the right bank. For a long time, you walk further down this muddy path. The path sometimes divides into three, but eventually everything comes together. At the next railway bridge you cross the Lesse again, on the left steeply sloping along large staircases. Continue to follow the river upstream until you reach a small 4 pebble beach. Here you can rest on a bench with a view of the Lesse, because soon you will be presented with a difficult climb. Turn right and through a few houses and a small chapel, you slowly but surely exit the valley of the Lesse. At the fork, at houses numbers 3 and 4, take the right road. This is the beginning of a fairly long and steep climb. As soon as you reach the pasture on the left, the heaviest part is on it. Just after the large farm 5, you keep right at the fork. Climbing slowly, you are presented with a beautiful panorama. On a single oak tree, choose the country road on the left. Past a grove with some impressive conifers, you find yourself on a wider road. Follow it on the right until you reach St. Donatius Chapel 6. Here turn right and through the cemetery and some large barns, you reach famagne again.
