Very beautiful hike to the Glacier d'Orny, together with the Glacier du Trient it forms a beautiful glacier table, as long as it lasts. You can take the cable car to La Breya, you can also walk there, but in my opinion, it is not very interesting compared to what follows. From here, the beautiful hike begins, first to the Cabane d'Orny and then on to the Cabane du Trient, the last stage requires experience with glacier hiking. (there would be a route that does not go over the glacier, but I have no experience with that)
Both mountain huts, of course, offer the opportunity to spend the night, witnessing the sunrise and sunset over a glacier like this is an unforgettable experience.
