Description

Embark on the trail of the former Chancellor Otto von Bismarck starting from Klietz. HE was born on 01.04.1815 in the town of Schönhausen (Elbe). Take the time to visit the Bismarck exhibition in the former gatehouse as well as the Romanesque church of St. Marien and Willebrord (baptismal church of Otto von Bismarck), and stroll through the baroque Gartenträumepark. The route then leads you to the family tomb of the von Katte family in Wust. Hans Hermann von Kattes tragic story is closely linked to the later Prussian King Frederick the Great.
