Cultural tour

"KulTour" – historical mills, legendary megalithic stones and cult stones, and educational paths line their way. On this route, you cross the border: you make a short visit to the neighboring community of Eggermühlen. The historical center of Fürstenau with the castle built in 1344 is the starting point of the circular tour. In Lonnerbecke, you pass by the historical oil mill, a unique cultural monument in the Osnabrück region. The tour then takes you to Dalum, where you should take a detour to the dolmen. Along the cycle path, you go to Bippen, whose history is closely linked to St. George's Church. After a short stretch along the country road, you reach the community of Eggermühlen with its districts Döthen and Bockraden. Along idyllic paths, you now head to the water mill Wöstenesch, a living monument of craftsmanship. The path leads through forests and meadows for several kilometers until you reach the idyllic Schwagstorf via the Bippener district Klein Bokern. An equally beautiful stretch of the path leads you past the Boyemühle back to the castle and Hanseatic city of Fürstenau.
