Möhnetal Cycle Path

The northern shore variant of the Möhnetal cycle path connects Brilon and Arnsberg-Neheim. The Möhnetal cycle path allows you to experience the Sauerland away from any inclines. The 65-kilometer route follows the small river Möhne from its source to its mouth.
There is much to discover along the cycle path. In addition to the beautiful Möhnetal with its green spaces, the towns you pass through also have a lot to offer. In the Warstein district of Belecke, the cycle path runs directly past the Stütings Mühle and the historic old town of Belecke. In the Mülheimer Schlacht, one of the MöhneLife projects can be admired, where a fish ladder has been built. The water point is ideal for a short break. In Sichtigvor, right by the Möhnetal cycle path, there is an old railway carriage with an impressive exhibition.
A highlight of the cycle path is the Möhnesee, one of the largest reservoirs in North Rhine-Westphalia. This cycle path promises pure nature.
Due to its completely flat profile, the Möhnetal cycle path is particularly family-friendly. The route has an easy level of difficulty. What makes it special are its cultural/historical and scenic values.
