We did this on 19.05.2023 on a well-signposted sidewalk

Usually the room is in the church, but it is a bit difficult to park. All car parks in the center are equipped with a parking card with a maximum limit of 3 hours. What a hike with such beautiful views is a bit cramped. We searched and found a parking space on the CR234, on the edge of the center.

With mixed feelings, we set off. At first glance, you might see some industry, but it's actually hidden behind the greenery. Soon you will be in the beautiful valley of the Schleederbaach in the direction of Moutfort. The church of Moutfort was open, be sure to enter. Once out of the valley and through Moutfort, the hiker is entitled to beautiful views until you are back in Contern.

It was May, the hawthorn was blooming. What a beautiful shade gives the fields.

After crossing Contern, follow a path through the fields to the edge of the Weiergewan industrial area. Follow the Schleederbaach in the direction of Moutfort. Then you climb the Marxeknupp, past Medingen to the Brichermillenmühle and return to the starting point.
