The Erfgooiersroute runs through the Gooiser Heide, through forests, past meadows, ’s-Graveland and Bussum as well as through Naarden, Hilversum, Huizen, Blaricum, and Laren. Along the way, the history of the (legacy of the) Erfgooiers is told. The entire Erfgooiers cycling route is a circular route of 52 km in total. With the shortcut route of about 5 km, the route can be divided into this northern route – approximately 31.5 km and also a southern route – about 26 km. The route can be followed on this digital map and is signposted unilaterally (clockwise on the map). The direction is shown with white/green, hexagonal signs with the text 'Erfgooiersroute'. There is also a GPS audio tour connected to this route. You can download this tour via the 'Gooi & Vecht Tour' app in the App Store (iOS) or in the Play Store (Android). This cycling route was compiled by the City and Land Foundation. It was established in 1978 in collaboration with the ANWB. In 2014, it was revised, adapted, and edited by iTRovator / RBT Gooi & Vecht in cooperation with the City and Land Foundation. You can start the route from La Place in Laren, but also from, for example, the Tourist Overlook Point (TOP) Huizen – Nautical Quarter.
