Leuven er en centrumby og kommune i den belgiske provins Vlaams-Brabant. Det er hovedstaden i denne provins og også den administrative og retlige hovedby for arrondissementet Leuven. Leuven har et areal på 5.751 ha og har en befolkning på over 102.000 indbyggere. Leuven ligger ved Dijle og er blandt andet kendt som beliggenheden for Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, den ældste universitet i de Nederlande, multinationalen Anheuser-Busch InBev, Boerenbond og det universitære hospital Gasthuisberg. Også flere spin-offs fra KU Leuven, såsom IMEC eller Materialise, er etableret i byen. Sankt Peter er skytshelgen for Leuven.
