Furth im Wald er en by i Bayern, Tyskland, nær den tjekkiske grænse i den bayerske skov, 16 kilometer nordøst for Cham og 17 kilometer sydvest for Domažlice. Byen er kendt som Drachenstadt, en reference til Furth im Walds årlige Drachenstich-teater. Drachenstich, som oprindeligt var en del af en Corpus Christi procession, blev første gang nævnt i 1590. Som et af de ældste folkespil på tysk genopfører skuespillerne hvert år legenden om Sankt Georg, der dræber dragen. I 2010 blev stykket bemærkelsesværdigt for at bruge verdens største gående robot, en animatronisk drage kaldet Tradinno.
