Guide

The road towards the Martin-Bush-Hütte is easy, it's a big road so it's easy hiking. There is however a deviation route because of landslides. It's advised to follow the deviated route, it's also a nicer small trail but can be crowded in summer and you'll advance a bit slower. Once back on the normal trail, it's back on the big road to the hut. This was the easiest part of the hike, the best is yet to come. At the hut, we take a small trail to the right, a sign pole is indicated with the Kreuzspitse so you can't miss it. The trail up is quit steep and after an hour climbing it gets a bit more flat with on the left the Samoarsee which you can go to but we stick on the marked trail. Once there was a mountain hut here, Brizzihütte but is now a small ruin. The hardest part is now to come, the trail gets mlore steep and leads you through block terrain which with snowy conditions gets tricky to find the trail through the blocks. Once through the big block terrain the trail stays rocky but with a more clear trail and stays steep untill you get on the ridge and a first glimpse of the view but still a hundred height meters below the summit (you'll have the idea that the climb takes forever to reach the summit). Along the ridge to the summit with a truly amazing 360° panorama view. Enjoy the view here as it's breatyhtaking. The return is along the same way back to the hut and back to Vent.
