Saint-Rémy Church - Somme-Leuze

Located on the corner of Rue du Pays-du-Roi and Rue du Tilleul, this church is dedicated to Saint Remi (Remigius de Reims).

About him the following legend : The birth of our great teacher and teacher Remigius was announced by a hermit. In the days when all Franconia was devastated by the Vandals, there lived a holy hermit who had long since lost the light of his eyes . He spent day and night in prayer asking God to restore peace and glory to the Church of France. When the hermit woke up, he immediately went to the house where Cilina lived and told her the vision he had seen. But she didn't believe him because he was years old. Then the hermit said: "See, if you suckle the child and cover my eyes with milk, then I will have light in my eyes. ' And everything happened just as he said it would.
