In 2013, the tourist television program "Vlaanderen Vakantieland" went in search of the most beautiful walk in Flanders. This walk "Through the land of Still waters" was one of the nominees. The VRT series 'Stille Waters' with Antje De Boeck and Jo De Meyere suddenly made the atmospheric Klein-Brabant famous. But the real main roles were reserved for the mighty Scheldt, the ferries and the moody villages along the shore. Walk along mudflats and salt marshes and discover the unspoiled landscape. With the free ferry services you can hop across the Scheldt without any problems. So enjoy the land of Stille Waters to the fullest.
This walk follows the hiking junctions 74 - ferry across the Scheldt - 75 - 148 - 145 - 143 - 140 - 139 - 131 - ferry across the Scheldt - 45 - 44 - 23 - 24 - 46 - 47 - 48 - 49 - 35 - 74

Shortening option: follow the red route and walk from junction 45 to junction 47.
