Limburgs Landschap vzw ensures proper management of the Herkbeemden, with the help of enthusiastic volunteers from the local nature association 't Bokje. Pools and swampy woodlands provide extra life in the brewery. Wooden paths lead you through the wettest spots of the valley. Waterproof shoes are recommended, even in dry periods.
