AzureWalking on the Schreve, the border between Belgium and France, is beautiful. This 6th ribbon walk is part of the total boundary line that is walked between the Purgatoire / Purgatory in Rekkem and the dunes in De Panne. In total there are 6 ribbon walks of about 20 km each. The aim of the walk (and also the next 5) is to walk as close as possible to the Schreve.
It goes without saying that a ribbon walk is less obvious to do. Start and end points are not the same. So for the experienced and the adventurous hiker. Spending the night along the Schreve is always possible.

This ribbon walk starts in the hamlet l'Etoile/De Ster in Leisele and goes to the dunes at the border stone near the sea in De Panne.
