This hike connects the beautiful villages of Olloy and Oignies, both of which are part of the fusion municipality of Viroinval. Downhill and uphill with a break, of course, 'Chez Raoul'. The hike starts at height; we are almost at the border with the French Ardennes and walk past the beautiful Ardennes houses out of the village. After a steep ascent on asphalt (along the soccer field), we reach paved forest paths that first go slightly uphill, then almost level, and finally downhill to the riding school of Olloy. From there, it's a bit more asphalt to the center, where we enjoy our picnic and a 'Super des Fagnes' in the local café. Then we return along our path until just before the riding school and again follow the peaceful valley of the Nestri uphill towards the soccer field and Oignies.
