The winding meanders of the Dijle and a series of ponds guide your way from St-Joris-Weert to Heverlee. The chances of spotting herons or perhaps even a stork are high here. Through a large loop of various GR paths, you traverse the green surroundings of Leuven. Along gentle forest paths and across cow pastures, you reach a Flemish winery. The Arenberg Castle and the abbeys of Park and Vlierbeek add a touch of historical heritage along the way.
