Mont - Kalterherberg - Mont

This ride starts at the cross in the small hamlet of Mont just north of Malmedy-Bevercé. Ideal for riding with a gravel, mountain, road, and E-bike. About 50 km will take you through a beautiful bikeable part of the High Fens. We start heading north and ride along well-paved forest roads to La Maison du Parc-Botrange. Here, not only can one take a break, but there are also very interesting exhibitions and hands-on activities both inside and outside. A visit to the tower (a bit further north than La Maison du Parc-Botrange) can be included so you can feel at the highest point of Belgium for a moment.

Afterwards, we head to Küchelscheid where we join the Vennbahn. This takes us through a beautiful valley to Malmedy. It is delightful to linger in the marketplace and also to regain some strength since there is a slope of about 5 km waiting ahead with a maximum incline of 6%. Before tackling the final climb to the "center" of Mont (the starting point), one can also take the diversion to Xhoffraix, with the ideal ending being the terrace of Chez Remi. From there, the return to Mont is very easy and does not compare to the climbs that have already been made.
