Cycle across the Hamme Bridge over the Drume, aka the "Mira Bridge. Around the Heidekapel (node 37) stretches the wooded Waasmunsterse Heide with quiet hiking trails, restaurants and cafes. Cycle through Recreation Domain De Ster, a beautiful nature reserve on the outskirts of Sint-Niklaas. Past Tielrode, head briskly down toward the Drumedijk where you look out on one of the few freshwater salt marshes left in our country.
