Weeze is a town and municipality in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in the district of Kleve. Weeze is known for the location of Airport Weeze (formerly Flughafen Niederrhein) within its municipal boundaries. Weeze has 10,682 inhabitants. In addition to the main town of Weeze, the municipality consists of the villages of Wemb and Laarbruch (the area around the airport).
Air traffic
Since 2003, the old militaite airfield Laarbruch has been used for civil aviation. Weeze Airport is mainly used by Ryanair.
