The Lohr Castle, also known as the Kurmainzer Castle, is a listed castle complex in the Unterfranken town of Lohr am Main in Bavaria.
The foundation stone for Lohr Castle, which was first mentioned in a document in 1389, was laid around 1340 by Count Gerhard V of Rieneck at the northwestern corner of the old town of Lohr am Main. Initially, it was just a residential tower modeled after Flemish examples, which was surrounded since the late 15th century by a moat and an encircling wall. Nearby stood a band house, a forester's house, a carriage house, and cellar buildings.
