The Evangelical Village Church is located in the Versmold district of Bockhorst in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Gütersloh in Germany.
It was originally built as a single-nave Romanesque chapel in the 12th or 13th century. In the 17th century, the chapel was replaced by a parish church, which ends in the east with a semicircular apse and a west tower. From 1893 to 1894, the church was extended in the shape of a cross by two side aisles, where a triumphal cross was discovered in the attic. The historicist colour scheme of the interior was restored in 1978/79. The church and congregation belong to the church district of Halle in the Evangelical Church of Westphalia and covers 18.51 km². The congregation has 1,593 believers.
