The Funne is a nearly 22 km long, southeastern, left tributary of the Stever. Its catchment area is over 55 km².
The Funne rises north of the Selm district of Cappenberg at an altitude of 98 m above sea level. It first runs in an easterly direction for about three kilometres, before continuing in a northeasterly direction to the city limits of Werne. There it makes a U-turn and then runs westwards. Passing Südkirchen and Selm, it flows into the Stever after 21.88 km. It is the longest river in the northern district of Unna.
