Haus Husemann, originally Gasthof Linnhoff, later temporarily Gasthof König von Preußen, is a listed classicist building on Neumarkt in Arnsberg from around 1820.
After the previously Hessian-Darmstadt and before that Electoral Cologne Duchy of Westphalia had come to Prussia in 1816, Arnsberg became the capital of the Arnsberg administrative district. In this context, the city was expanded by a district built between 1817 and 1822 in the classicist style with the center around the Neumarkt. The Prussian state granted subsidies of up to 40% for the construction of the buildings.
