Perwenitz is a district of the municipality of Schönwalde-Glien in the east of the Havelland district in the state of Brandenburg. Until October 26, 2003, Perwenitz was an independent municipality, managed by the Schönwalde-Glien office.
Perwenitz is part of the Ländchen Glien, a plateau located northwest of Berlin. The village is situated about 30 kilometers northwest of central Berlin, with other nearby towns including Falkensee about ten kilometers southeast, Nauen about ten kilometers southwest, and Oranienburg about 19 kilometers northwest in a straight line. To the north of Perwenitz lies the Krämer forest area. Surrounding villages include the districts Neu-Vehlefanz in the north and Oberkrämer in the northeast, belonging to the municipality of Oberkrämer in the Oberhavel district, Schönwalde-Dorf in the east, the Falkensee district of Waldheim in the southeast, Brieselang in the south, Paaren im Glien in the west, and Grünefeld in the northwest.
