In this rectory, the Jewish couple Max and Ines Krakauer survived the last days of the war. Both had been hidden in Württemberg for over 20 months. Finally, the pastor's wife Hildegard Spieth provided them refuge here at the risk of her own life until the arrival of the American troops on April 21, 1945.
