The first stage of this circular trail is dominated by beautiful forest and dramatic rocky passages, before leading to the “Sündentempelchen”, or “sin temple”. The second day is characterised by meadows and fields. Next to the path, there is the famous bird-of-prey centre with its open-air wildlife enclosure. The highlights of the third stage, which runs along the Eifelsteig, are the massive Urft dam wall, Vogelsang IP / “International Place” in the Eifel National Park with the new visitor centre, two special exhibitions and naturally, the Eifel National Park.
