Experience nature on foot at heights of up to 300 m and over a distance of about 5 km. Around 20 years ago, the "Naturlehrpfad Bonstapel" was created in Vlotho, aiming to bring people closer to nature and nature closer to people.
This very attractive circular hiking trail extends over a length of approximately 5 km through the valley of the upper Linnenbeeke, passing by the mysterious "Sieben Quellen" up to Röntorfer Straße, past the shelter Steinbründorf between Nettelberg and Großem Selberg, and then back down to the starting point at Hohenhausener Straße at Kleinen Selberg.
A total of 14 information boards along the wayside provide interesting information to the walkers about the local animal and plant life and point out other sights.
