This easy hike leads past the fishing ponds at Blumenberg, over the ruins of Sachsenburg and the Zwergenlöcher up to Sachsenstein with the Sachsenstein hut. It continues downhill to the Loren memorial and the historic plaster kiln in Neuhof. From here, the path continues through the meadow valley towards the train station. From there, it is only a short sunny walk through the fields to Mönchslede in Bad Sachsa and back to the starting point via Walkenrieder Straße.
