Gifhorn - Wilsche - Müden (Aller) - Meinersen - Dalldorf - Leiferde - Winkel - Gifhorn

In the Südheide Gifhorn there is plenty of water. The Elbe-Seitenkanal and the Mittellandkanal wind their way through the region, the large bathing lakes Tankumsee and Bernsteinsee attract with sandy beaches and leisure activities. And the three rivers Aller, Oker, and Ise, which lie along the route of this tour, traverse the landscape and provide a habitat for many animals and plants.

In Gifhorn, the tour follows the river Ise. In Müden, it then crosses the Aller and continues along the Oker. Incidentally, in Müden, the Oker coming from the Harz mountains flows into the Aller. On the way back to Gifhorn, the tour passes through Winkel over the Allerkanal and once again over the Aller.

Also noteworthy on the tour are the changing forest landscapes with a beautiful and impressive diversity of species.
