This route starts and ends in Kessel (Castle Keverberg). The route first leads along the Maas over Baarlo (Castle d'Erp and historic estate d'Erp) and Blerick, then crosses the railway bridge over the Maas towards Venlo.
Passing by the Venlo Glider Club, it crosses the border over Krickenbecker Lakes, through Lobberich to Brüggen (Brüggen Castle) and along the Schwalm back to the Netherlands, and finally takes the ferry back to Kessel.
