Ambroz Forests

Technical and demanding route of 40 km through the Ambroz forests, ideal for cyclists looking to ride in solitude. It starts near Hervás, featuring stretches of forest trail and well-defined dirt roads, where concentration and control are key. With an accumulated elevation gain of 881 m, it combines sustained climbs with fast descents that test endurance and technique. The course, mostly unpaved and with little traffic, winds through oak groves and scrub areas, offering varied terrain that requires constant changes in pace. Accessible public transport is available to return to the starting point.
