Rather than going up and coming down by the Beacon Way, I prefer to start from the parking lot across from the Storey Arms Centre, go up the Cambrian Way and come down the Beacon Way. It is more interesting and rewarding. There are public toilets in the car park to the south (at the Beacon Way). There is often a food snack van at both of the car parks.
