The Tempio di Giunone (Temple of Juno), also known as the Temple of Hera , built in the 5th century BC and has the characteristic features of the Doric order.
Although the Tempio di Giunone is often identified with the goddess Hera (Giunone in Italian), the exact deity to whom the temple was dedicated is uncertain.
The temple has 6 x 15 columns and measures approximately 24.9 meters in length and 58.2 meters in width. It is slightly smaller than the Temple of Concordia , but still impressive in scale.
The Tempio di Giunone is remarkably well preserved, with most of the original structure still standing, including the columns, entablature, and part of the roof.
The temple is known for its impressive Doric columns and its majestic appearance, especially at sunset.
