We did this beautiful, well-signposted one-way walk on 27/01/2024. Departure is usually in front of the gas station, but the parking lot is at a bus stop and is usually full. About two hundred meters away we found a spacious parking lot, also on the N10.

"In addition to the well-known geological highlights of Berdorf, this hike takes you past a number of spectacular rock formations and varied landscapes.

The starting point for this hike is in front of the Bollendorf-Pont petrol station. The first part runs along the Sûre until you cross the N10 (main road). Through the fields we then go up to the fascinating rock formations of Berdorf.

Surrounded by beautiful pine trees, a ladder leads to a viewpoint from which you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Sûre Valley. The highlight of the hike is undoubtedly the passage of the Mandrack, a rock formation and narrow crevice named after the German TV presenter Manuel Andrack.

A little further on is the impressive Kalekapp rock, followed by the Rammelee.

After reaching the forest area of Fënnefter, the descent to the Sûre begins. The last part runs along the river with a beautiful view of Bollendorf Castle in Germany. This hike is very varied with many geological highlights.
