Bicycle route to the hidden village in the Veluwe. During World War II, there were a large number of resistance groups in the Veluwe. The Veluwe was perfectly suited as a hideout due to the large wooded area. As a result, many Allies were also sheltered and hidden after the failed Operation Market Garden, the airborne landings around Arnhem. A nice example is the hidden village in Vierhouten, a whole hiding village founded by two individuals.

The route starts and ends at the Nunspeet train station. The route follows the bicycle junction network of the Veluwe.
