Monument No 2 was a mound covered with trees and vegetation before. The ruins look like monument No 1, but there is a difference. The prang is located in the back of the construction, which offers more space to the terrace than in monument No 1. On each side of the terrace, you can see holes in which columns stood for a wooden roof covered with terra cotta tiles. Besides the holes, you can also see stands on which a Buddha statue protected by Naga, god and goddess statues were found. It is believed that the Jaya Buddha Mahanath statue given by King Jaya Varman VII stood in this location. [Source: Board in situ]
