Rodewald è un comune nella Samtgemeinde di Steimbke nel distretto di Nienburg/Weser in Bassa Sassonia. Il comune, caratterizzato dall’agricoltura, è suddiviso in tre frazioni chiamate Obere, Mittlere e Untere Bauerschaft. Il 1° aprile 1969, dalle tre municipalità politiche di Rodewald, è nata la comunità unitaria di Rodewald. Fino alla riforma del distretto nel 1974, Rodewald faceva parte del distretto di Neustadt am Rübenberge, da allora il comune appartiene al distretto di Nienburg/Weser.
