Het Musée Alsacien, dat is gehuisvest in charmante oude huizen in Straatsburg, laat sinds 1907 zien hoe het leven in de Elzas er vroeger uitzag. Meubels, kostuums, speelgoed, huishoudelijke en agrarische voorwerpen worden tentoongesteld in suggestieve gereconstrueerde interieurs. Aan de hand van de thema's huisvesting, tijdperken, geloof en religie, landbouw en wijnproductie biedt het Musée Alsacien een uniek inzicht in volkskunst en regionale tradities.
