Bad Pyrmont ist als niedersächsisches Staatsbad ein traditionsreiches Kurbad mit vielen Kureinrichtungen von hohem nationalen und internationalen Rang. Der Ort beherbergt einen großzügigen Kurpark, der mit seinem Palmengarten die größte Palmenfreianlage nördlich der Alpen aufweist.
