The valley of the Broicher Bach forms a narrow strip of nature in the midst of several population concentrations. There are several small nature reserves along the largely canalized Broichbach .
In the past there were several watermills in the valley. Most of these have now disappeared, but the large reservoir on the west side and the Broicher Weiher are remnants of an era when hydropower was still of great importance. Also located in the valley Slot Ottenfeld , a large country house.
