This superb, spanking-new gîte, opposite the Ninglinspo in the Amblève valley, is ideal for unwinding in an idyllic setting, surrounded by luxuriant plant life. The gîte is an outbuilding to the owners’ house (a former hay barn), and is located in a very peaceful area. The house is a former 18th-century small village farmouse, made of local stone.
Access to the gîte is by means of external stairs, which lead you to a private terrace and the separate entrance to the gite. The main room, with a cloakroom, a fitted kitchen, a very cosy lounge with a TV and open fire, and a lovely dining room are on this floor. The bathroom with its superb walk-in shower, then the well-being area with an infrared two-person sauna are at the end of the hallway. The very cosy bedrooms are upstairs and include top-quality bedding.
A lot of the furniture was bought second-hand and restored by the owner with the greatest of care, to give a unique and very romantic style to each room.
You can enjoy the garden which is full of flowers and the furnished terrace. The owners are discreet and if you like, will be delighted to advise you regarding your walks, your visits, or anything else. Fine foods from the South-West of France are sold onsite for gourmands, as well as regional Ardennes produce.
The centre of Aywaille, with its restaurants and shops, is 10 minutes away by car. The surrounding areas are renowned for their rambling possibilities either on foot or by mountain bike.
The owners make a locked storage area available for you for a maximum of 4 bikes.
The Monde Sauvage d'Aywaille wildlife park or the Remouchamps Caves are not very far away, and are a really good idea for family activities.
The Ninglinspo walking trail is 3 minutes away from the gite.
Student parties, stag and hen dos, or other parties of this type are forbidden in this house.
