The Donkey Path

Visit the donkey farm in Poperinge. This "private visit" is ideal to get acquainted with our large, gentle donkeys Vital, Addo, Pipetta, Mozart, Mandragore, Carolientje and Occitane. A word of explanation is given about donkeys in general and poitou donkeys (French Giant Donkeys) in particular. They can always be found to be hugged and brushed. Children are allowed to do "tricks" on the donkeys and what that means, we will keep that a secret for a while!

A farm visit takes about 1.5 hours. For those who prefer to watch our donkeys from a distance, there are Folk Games present. Sturdy shoes are a necessity for the sake of safety, not sandals.

BIG FARM VISIT :

You can also rent the donkey farm for a whole afternoon (3h). During this extensive visit, the donkeys are "trained and practiced" a little more and there is an introduction donkey therapy (relaxing lying on a donkey- only children).
