Laforêt/Vresse - Trail of Legends

This short walk (2.2km) in beautiful Laforêt is highly recommended, especially with children (see Sights).

Along the way there are more than 10 scenes depicting all sorts of characters from the legends that used to explain the fires. Always with explanations in French and Dutch for clarification and explanation for children. You can also find them here under the sights.

Start at the church for a short loop trail to the Mawhotte lookout with a picnic area . Nice view over the city. In the village itself, in addition to 2 cafes , there are many other attractions.

The town of Laforêt is also the only one to have preserved all the "water heritage" : a laundry, a water point and a fountain.
