Walk 2

The walk starts at the church of Florzé. You will immediately discover the castle of Florzé. Stroll through the village with its old natural stone houses and continue to Rue de Warnoumont, where you will get a beautiful view of Sprimont. The route then leads to the top of La Redoute and the monument of the Battle of Sprimont. Descend again along the Belvédère to a notable nature reserve, the Heid des Gattes. At the top of the slope, you will notice the so-called Roche Sanglante ('bleeding rock'). After crossing the main road, head towards the ruins of the Château des Quatre Fils Aymon ('castle of the four Aymon sons'). A little lower, a bridge leads to the old quarry of Florzé. Then climb to Rouvreux, where upon entering the village La Maison Humblet stands with a rough bass-relief of a miller. At the monument for World War I, you will ascend to the water tower and then make your way back down to the starting point.
