On Saturday, March 8th 2025, the Ename Classic will open a new season of the Proximus Cycling Challenge. A beautiful season opener that sets the tone for a series of challenging bike rides through the most beautiful regions of our country. The Ename Classic is a first good test for those who have been training hard over the past few months. For others, it's an ideal moment to wake up from their (bike) winter slumber.

Some unknown but steep climbs, well-running connecting sections, and stunning landscapes along the way, that's the Ename Classic. In short, the perfect ride to test and sharpen your fitness. The beginning of what is sure to be a long and enjoyable cycling season.

For the start and finish of the opening ride of the Proximus Cycling Challenge, we will head to Oudenaarde, a city closely linked to cycling for race enthusiasts. The menu features four beautiful routes of 65 km, 90 km, 120 km, or 150 km. As a bonus, Brouwerij Roman is providing a free bottle of Ename abbey beer at the finish.
